Neurodiversity & inclusion training

My workshops are tailored to fit your staff and camp needs. It is between 1.5-3 hours in length, the cost is $150 for 1.5 hours, $180 for 2 hours, and $260 for three hours. Presentations are usually done over Zoom, but there is flexibility depending on your location and camp needs.

It is my goal to prevent problems from happening by providing your staff with the tools and knowledge to support neurodiverse campers. Like you, I want your stff and all of your campers to have an amazing summer. 

I have a variety of presentation topics that I can adapt to fit the needs of your staff team and your camp. 

Some suggested topics are: 

• Helping campers with transitions (moving from one activity to another) 
• Preventing, reducing, and addressing challenging behaviours 
• What is neurodiversity? (In particular, ADHD and autism, but neurodiversity can be covered in general as well) 
• Questions to ask parents whose children are neurodiverse or sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours 
• Effectively supporting campers through intense emotions and challenging 
• Behaviours without confrontation, threats, or punishment 
• Q & A with your st at the end of the presentation 

• Collaborative Problem Solving 
• Circle of Security 
• Modified/Adapted Zones of Regulation 

I have been a Neurodiversity advocate, Autism & ADHD coach, consultant, and tutor in Manitoba since 2017.  I have a Social Services diploma and a degree in Psychology, as well as over 20 years' experience in the social services and mental health fields.
