I develop customized professional development for social services and community organizations. Please contact me to discuss your agency's particular needs and goals. I will help you further your staff team's skills and knowledge in supporting and accommodating neurodiverse people.
I provide workshops on managing challenging behaviours, emotional regulation, social-emotional skills, neurodiversity, ADHD, and autism. Workshops can be from 1 to 4 hours in length, beginning at $90 per hour.
About Me
I am neurodivergent and the parent of an amazing neurodivergent child. I have more than 20 years' experience in the social services and mental health fields. I specialize in ADHD, autism, twice exceptionality, and gifted learners.
I have a diploma in Child and Youth Work as well as a degree in Psychology.

Summer Camp Workshops
Inclusive Summer Camps
Summer camp can be the highlight of a child’s life, but being denied access or being kicked out of summer camp can leave lasting psychological wounds for a child and their family.
My Goal
It is my goal to prevent these problems from happening by providing your staff with the tools and knowledge to support neurodiverse campers. Like you, I want your staff and all of your campers to have an amazing summer.
What will this training look like?
I have a variety of presentation topics that I can adapt to fit the needs of your staff and your camp.
Some suggested topics are:
- Helping campers with transitions (moving from one activity to another)
- Preventing, reducing, and addressing challenging behaviours
- What is neurodiversity? (In particular, ADHD and autism, but neurodiversity can be covered in general as well)
- Questions to ask parents whose children are neurodiverse or sometimes exhibit challenging behaviours
- Effectively supporting campers through intense emotions and challenging behaviours without confrontation, threats, or punishment
