I will work with your family, your child's school, and social services agencies. I advocate for children to be fully and effectively supported, promote neurodiversity awareness, and educate communities and professionals about neurodiversity.
I have more than 20 years' experience in social services and mental health.
My standard rate is $90 per hour for virtual sessions and $120 per hour for in-person appointments. Services can be arranged on a sliding scale between $70-$120/hr., determined by household income.
Please contact me for further details.
A one-time free 15-20 minute video chat to get to know each other a little bit. We can discuss yours and/or your family's needs and goals, and determine if our services are the right fit for you and your family.
There is no cost for this service. Please note this is intended for prospective clients only, and for those interested in my services. No sales calls or inquiries.
I will help you (or you with your child) develop strategies to harness your strengths and manage difficulties from a neurodiversity-affirming framework.
I have academic, professional, and personal lived experience as an Autistic person with ADHD, as well as the parent of an Autistic child with ADHD.
I have extensive experience as an academic tutor and am highly qualified to support students from Kindergarten to University courses in Psychology, Social Work / Child & Youth Work, Disability & Community Support, English, Business Administration, and American Sign Language (ASL).
In addition to my professional and academic experience, I am neurodivergent myself, and also the parent of an amazing twice exceptional child (neurodivergent, gifted & ADHD). Private consultations can provide any related assistance needed, the time is yours. I offer parenting advice, coaching, education, and support.
I will help you advocate for your child with their school and work collaboratively with other service providers and agencies. In particular, I can attend IEP/SSP and other school-planning meetings to ensure your child's needs are being met.
Newly diagnosed, and not sure where to turn? I can help you find the resources that will meet your needs and navigate our sometimes complicated system. This service is available online and in person for residents of Manitoba, as resources will be specific to our province.
I have been a successful entrepreneur since 2010. In addition to my academic qualifications, I have extensive experience as a neurodivergent business owner. I can help you pursue your own entrepreneurial goals, adapt to your workplace, or succeed in post-secondary education.
I develop customized professional development for social services and community organizations. Please contact me to discuss your agency's particular needs and goals. I will help you further your staff team's skills and knowledge in supporting and accommodating neurodiverse people.
I try to be as flexible as possible because I know how difficult it can be to manage appointments and schedules when struggling with executive functioning. If you realize you've missed an appointment, please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule.
For rescheduling, I ask for a minimum of one business day's notice to allow me to offer the appointment time to other clients--please give as much notice as possible for this reason.
There is no fee for the first cancelled or missed appointment--life happens, I get it--After that, there will be a gradually increasing fee. The fee for the second missed appointment is $5, $10 for the third, and $15 for the fourth.
I will always be as flexible as possible and do my best to respect your time--with the understanding that most of us are neurodivergent, please do your best to respect my time as well. Thank you!
