Call to Action: Let's Stop Profiting from Bigotry
Stop bigots from profiting from their harmful & hateful behaviour
This is not originally my idea, full credit must go to Kiandra Demonde. Kiandra has been taking on racists who try to use Give-Send-Go (GSG) to get money instead of being held accountable. She shared that if a fundraiser gets enough disputed charges, that can shut the campaign down because it's considered too "high risk". This means if a swath of people gave the minimum donation, then filed a dispute with their bank as soon as the charge appeared, it could freeze the donations and shut down the fundraiser.
If I’m asking people to risk their money, that means I should go first, so I did. It turns out Mrs. Bigot is also forcing people to give a minimum donation of $7! As per Give-Send-Go’s policy, their minimum donation is $5, so this higher amount is set by the recipient.
I have verified this information in Give-Send-Go's Terms of Service (ToS). The number of disputed charges needed to shut down a campaign is unspecified, however it is important to note that GSG's ToS also indicate Recipients will be charged a $15 fee every time someone disputes their donation and receives a refund through their bank.
Kiandra's video indicates the threshold is usually between 1-8% of the fundraising total, so in this case (as of right now), that would mean we need to chargeback anywhere from $166 to $1,300. If each person is donating $7, that would mean we need between 24 and 198 people to have a chance of the fundraiser being taken down.
On the plus side, even if we don't get this hate campaign shut down (yet), if even 24 people donated then disputed and won, that would cost the bigot $360! That's a significant amount by any measure.

This needs to happen all around the same day(ish), so that numerous disputes and chargebacks can be filed before they catch on and stop our action. From December 15 - 17, 2025 we all donate $7. As soon as the charge shows up on our statements, we file a dispute with our banks.
Keep in mind
There is no guarantee the dispute will be successful. Most banks will grant you a chargeback if you make clear you found the product or service did not meet expectations set by the seller. In this case, it could be the fact that you found out Mrs. Bigot has been misrepresenting her "advocacy" campaign and/or the fact that she has not provided any proof of her legal expenses. Be honest while using particular language that will get their attention. Also, charges can take a day or two to appear on your statement, and banks will ask that you not file the dispute until the charge has gone through, then it can take another few days for a refund to be given.
Strength in numbers
All that said, even if we don't succeed in getting the campaign shut down, each successful refund forced through a dispute will cost the hate campaign a $15 fee. Not only do more people make it more likely we will stop this illegal fundraiser, but it will also significantly reduce the amount Mrs. Bigot will get at the end regardless.
Here's the plan
From December 15 - 17, 2025 we all donate between $7. As soon as the charge shows up on our statements, we file a dispute with our banks. This way there will already be numerous chargeback requests in process before they catch on to what is happening, and they won't be able to stop us. Hopefully there will be enough that the entire fundraiser gets shut down, but if not, we'll at least cost the bigot a significant chunk of profit. Hate and bigotry should not be profitable!

If you can't make the financial risk, you can still help us by interacting with our posts on social media, sharing this with as many people as you can, and inviting others to join in our fight against hate.
You can also help by writing emails to Give Send Go, Stripe Canada, and SquareUp Canada. This campaign violates the terms of service of these companies, yet has been allowed to continue. I have created an email template that anyone is welcome to use. The more people that email with concerns, the more likely they are to take us seriously and take action.

I'm merely a messenger
I am an advocate for marginalized families in Manitoba, which includes the 2s+LGBTQIA community, which has been targeted with hate from Raelyn Fox for the past 2 1/2 years. That is why I am speaking out and will continue to do so. That said, I am merely applying an idea someone else came up with to this campaign. I am not responsible for any losses anyone might incur as a result. I recommend looking up your bank's dispute policies before making the donation.
As I mentioned, there is no guarantee the bank will grant the refund, but if you can afford to risk a few dollars, I believe it's worth it!
